Jennifer Lawrence was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She has 2 older brothers, Ben (Meredith) and Blaine, her parents are Gary and Karen Lawrence and a brand new nephew, Bear Lawrence.
Jennifer, known to her friends and family as “Jen”, was discovered in New York City at the age of 14. Before Jennifer became an actor, she was involved in cheerleading, field hockey, softball, and modeling, none of which she held a passion for.
The 22-year-old Oscar nominee, who sky-rocketed to international fame in 2012 playing Katniss Everdeen in the blockbuster hit The Hunger Games, reveals in the December 2012 issue of Elle that she is comfortable in her own skin and doesn’t care if she is “considered a fat actress” in Hollywood – and RadarOnline.com has the details.
“In Hollywood, I’m obese. I’m considered a fat actress,” Jennifer tells the fashion magazine. “I’m Val Kilmer in that one picture on the beach.”
“I eat like a caveman,” Lawrence reveals. “I’ll be the only actress who doesn’t have anorexia rumors.”
Jennifer Lawrence covers the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and I’m a little bit mesmerized by the cover shoot. Look at how gorgeous (and pleasantly hot) she looks in relatively ordinary people-type clothes! Maybe this phenomenon can easily explain why she looked so comfortable (and amazingly hot) in that red Calvin Klein Oscars dress, which was very simple, as opposed to the vast majority of looks she’s donned to promote The Hunger Games. There’s also an interview of course, but the excerpts released so far are mostly what other people say about what she’s said to them. I guess you could call it hearsay but of a more charming variety than expected:
